MAC: Version 13 stopped working when I upgraded to Catalina

Unfortunately, Stat/Transfer 13 (and lower) will not run on Catalina. This is because 32 bit applications are prohibited on that platform. However, Stat/Transfer 14 is a 64 bit application and will run.

If you have Stat/Transfer Version 13 or lower and then upgrade to Catalina, Stat/Transfer will simply stop running. If you have version 14, please make sure that you have upgraded to the latest maintenance release of Stat/Transfer 14 before installing Catalina. It will then run without problems.

Because of Catalina’s new notarization (code signing) requirements, which are not implemented in our Version 14, you will need to follow the instructions here when installing it. Our forthcoming Version 15 will be completely compatible with all of Apple’s requirements and will not require this special procedure.

You may wish to take this as an opportunity to upgrade your copy of Stat/Transfer. If you have Version 12 or 13, we are offering 20% off the regular price of an upgrade.
